An elderly couple lived happily with their horses. The animals never had to work, never had to be ridden, they could simply be horses. The couple had promised them that. The idyll came to an end when old age made it increasingly difficult for the couple to care for their horses. A painful separation was imminent, and in addition it was difficult to offer seven horses a common place. In such cases, the trader was already waiting to pick up the horses and take them to a slaughterhouse. The originally happy horses had become death candidates. When we heard about Charm and her friends, we immediately agreed to take them in.
