The problem of foals: It's like a lottery game for breeders. If they are insanely lucky, a foal can bring a lot of money. That's what the breeders hope for and accept that the vast majority of foals have to die. Hardly someone is interested in foals that are not considered perfect representatives of their breed. Egoism, vanity and ruthlessness cannot be more obvious. And we, society, remain silent about the annual suffering. In autumn, the foals are separated from their mothers. Some are only three months old. Then they become foal carpaccio, dog food or are added to salami. But Didier was able to escape this fate just in time. A woman became aware of him and asked us to take him in. Thanks to her commitment, his life was saved.
