Freddy was to be used as a children's riding horse and was already fully loaded at the age of 2. He bucked and threw the children off again and again. In such cases Freddy was beaten and kicked so that he would "spurt again". But the pet owners kept him anyway. However, when financial problems came up, there was no reason for the family to keep him anymore. An animal lover observed this, stood up for the Haflo-Arabian and asked for him to be taken in. At Gut Aiderbichl he is one of the most well-behaved and cuddly horses.
