Freddy was intended to be used as a children's riding horse and was already fully loaded at the age of 2. He bucked and kept throwing the children off. In such cases, Freddy was beaten and kicked so that he would "spurt again". But the pet owners kept him anyway. However, when the family began to have financial problems, there was no longer any reason for them to keep Freddy.
