"323 birds rescued from a messy apartment" was a headline in an Austrian daily newspaper in 2017. Behind this, there was so much sorrow. The woman loved her animals more than anything and tried to take care of them all as good as she could. But she suffered a lot of strokes of fate in recent years and so at some point lost track of the bird population in her apartment. A social worker of a Viennese authority turned to us and asked us for help. From the 80 parakeets mentioned at the beginning, 323 wavy and cockatiel parakeets became part of our family that day.
