John was simply abandoned in front of our shelter in January and has been living with us ever since. He is a calm, friendly dog who has already settled in well with us. John gets along very well with other dogs, this also applies to humans. With his known caregivers John is trusting and perfect in handling. Only with strange men John can be a bit reserved in the beginning. However, this will subside when he realizes that no harm is meant to him. John is always on his best behavior at the shelter and even with his six years he is still a fit dog. We very much hope that John will soon be able to move to a new home.

We are looking for:
We are looking for a home for John that is experienced with dogs, preferably in a rural area. John will settle in great in his new home, however, he has been with us at the shelter for a long time and certainly needs some support and guidance in the beginning while getting to know the big, wide world.
