Shortly before Christmas 2013, Gut Aiderbichl managed to get two donkeys from Greece. One of them was Wanja. She belonged to a kindergarten teacher who had been given Wanja as a gift by the locals. For years, she made sure that Wanja wanted for nothing. But when it was time to retire and move to Germany, she didn't want to leave the donkey behind. Wanja became an Aiderbichler. What we didn't realize at the time: Wanja had made friends with two other donkeys in the meantime, and was pregnant when she arrived. On October 6, 2014, she gave birth to little Marie at Gut Aiderbichl Henndorf.
