When we took in the Noriker mare Fiona and her foal Henry in September 2013, the patient broodmare was already pregnant. Henry was not suitable for breeding and so he was threatened with slaughter. On "Karfreitag", the 18th of April 2014, Fiona gave birth to a healthy filly at 3 am. Mariella not only looks very much like her mother. Just like Fiona and Henry, Mariella is very lucky to be able to stay at Gut Aiderbichl until the natural end of her life. While Henry lives at Gut Aiderbichl Eslarn, Fiona and Mariella enjoy their existence on our main estate.
