We found the beautiful Milo star at a cattle dealer in Bavaria when we were on location for filming. Michael Aufhauser caught sight of him and knew immediately that his life was in danger. He was standing there magnificently and it was obvious that he had been running in sport until recently, but it is precisely these horses that often find themselves on a slaughter transport. Why? Because the owner wants it that way. But for Milo-Star the tide turned and he was allowed to take up residence at Gut Aiderbichl and above all: stay until the natural end of his life!
