Two Aiderbichlerinnen had become aware of the 10-year-old donkey Olympe and her foal Mona by chance at a farmer. They were completely neglected and, above all, their hooves were in a catastrophic condition. Olympe could hardly walk a step, she literally buckled and every step meant pain. The owner set an ultimatum for the Aiderbichlerinnen. That was to take the donkeys with them immediately. Olympe and Mona were supposed to go to the dealer the next day, and that would have been their death sentence. And that was despite the fact that Olympe was already pregnant again. The Aiderbichler women bought the donkeys free and asked Gut Aiderbichl for help. Shortly afterwards, Olympe and Mona arrived in Henndorf, where they first received medical care.
