The Yellow-breasted Macaw is one of the most famous parrot species along with the Green-winged Macaw. They impress with their wonderful bright colors and intelligence. An age of 100 years is nothing unusual for these animals. Richi got into trouble once before, when her owners turned their backs on her. At that time, animal friends from Munich took care of her and gave her shelter in their rescue center for parrots. But the continuation of this project failed simply because of the age of the operators. They asked us for help. Michael Aufhauer agreed and so 51 parrots came under the protection of Gut Aiderbichl.
