The yellow-breasted macaw is one of the best-known parrot species alongside the green-winged macaw. They impress with their wonderful bright colors and their intelligence. An age of 100 years is nothing unusual for these animals. Richi got into trouble once before when her owners turned their backs on her. At that time, animal lovers from Munich took her in and gave her shelter in their rescue center for parrots. However, this project could not be continued due to the age of the owners. They asked us for help. Michael Aufhauer agreed and so 51 parrots came under the protection of Gut Aiderbichl.
