The sight of Scharid and his fellow horses shook us to the core; 19 almost starving horses, without bedding or food and in desolate conditions. We were asked by a veterinary office to help and Managing Director Dieter Ehrengruber immediately agreed. "I decided to take all 19 horses with me. I am doing this in the hope that our Aiderbichlers will help us..." One was already in such a desolate state that it died on the first night. But now we have to devote all our love, care and strength to the other 18 horses.
