We found little Snorre at just 3 years old at a horse slaughter market in Maishofen. Cattle dealers were already interested in him to send him on a slaughter transport to the south or east of Europe. Perhaps he would have found a private buyer, but that seemed rather unlikely at the time. Michael Aufhauser saw him and decided to act. Together with the Gut Aiderbichl team, he saved his life.
