Friendships for life develop in times of need. This is what happened to the mare Weibi and the donkey Lisa. They met on the farm of an animal lover. Lisa was rescued by her after the owners had simply forgotten about her. Three days later, a cattle dealer placed Weibi with the animal lover. She was destined for slaughter because she was old and had severe arthritis. The animal lover also kept Weibi. From then on, the old mare and Lisa protected and defended each other. They are a beautiful symbol of friendship that no one can separate.
