Annabell lost her beloved mother when she was a foal. An animal lover, who lived in the neighbourhood, took care of the foal and raised it. The little filly grew into a lively warmblood mare who already recognised her best friend by his step. She regularly visited Annabell in her stable and was happy. But then, one day, it came the shock: Annabell's box was empty. Her owner wanted to give her to the butcher at the age of 4. The animal lover pulled out all the stops to save Annabell and succeeded in buying her back. When we heard about this fate, we were able to agree to take her in.
