When an animal lover found Hendrik neglected in his owner's box, he bought him free and had big plans for him. Hendrik is a beautiful specimen of his breed. The animal lover believed that if he offered the 12-year-old Friesian stallion a good life and fed him, Hendrik could find new happiness in life. However, due to the neglect in his previous care, he had large festering sores all over his body. Instead of getting better, it got worse and worse until the vet in charge recommended that Hendrik be put down. Desperate, the animal lover turned to Michael Aufhauser himself. One day after the detailed conversation, we brought Hendrik to us and took him to one of the best clinics. There he was first treated with antibiotics and then for a whole month under the supervision of the most caring equine doctors with all the necessary medication to restore his immune system. Finally came the good news: "You can pick Hendrik up and with further good care he should make it." And become what his original rescuer had dreamed of: a happy and healthy horse.
