Laika, whose name translated from Russian actually means "yapper", has already wrapped many visitors around her "hoof" with her beautiful eyes. She belongs to a domesticated form of camel, which is bred mainly for its wool. They are characterized by their calm and peaceful nature, which is why they are often used in animal-assisted therapy. Laika owes her adoption to another animal rescue. After his rescue, alpaca gelding Moritz (†) suffered greatly from loneliness and became increasingly sad. To help him, we found Laika thanks to a breeder who entrusted her to us.
