The stars did not align well for the young sheep girl Lucky Tom. Born in the north of France, she was separated from her mother at 9 months and sent on a transport to Romania. During a rest stop in Bavaria, a family became aware of the transporter and peered into the vehicle while the drivers slept. They were shocked to discover that one of the sheep was unwell and appeared to be injured. They immediately pulled out all the stops, called the local veterinarian and Gut Aiderbichl. When the sheep girl was classified as "not fit for transport", fate began to turn. Thanks to the courageous intervention of the family, Lucky Tom became part of our family.
