In 2012, Gut Aiderbichl rescued 14 goats from a circus whose animals had been confiscated. Among the goats was a black pony tied to a short rope in the middle of the goats: "Roger". Once you get to know this spirited, lively pony, you can hardly imagine the torture Roger must have experienced in this tethered situation. Today, the cheeky wallach enjoys his walks in the paddock with his pony friends and is happy about every bit of attention he receives from visitors to Gut Aiderbichl Deggendorf, now also without a ring.
