Ponies don't have it easy. They are often bought for children to teach them about responsibility or to ride. However, many quickly lose interest in the animals and move on to other things. Then it is usually the parents who take care of them. But for how long? The "friends" are often given back to the dealer after a few years. The "cuteness factor" is their downfall - some people can't understand why a pony doesn't like children. Thank goodness Simmerl is no longer interested in all this. He lives at Gut Aiderbichl Spielberghof with his friends and has nothing to worry about.
