The Southern German Coldblood is the national horse breed of the Bavarians, and it is not uncommon to find them harnessed to carriages in various festive parades. They probably originated in the Alpine region. The first records can be found in connection with the Romans and their conquests through Europe. The great importance of the South German cold-blooded horse for the people and their buildings has been lost. What remained is the memory and tradition. We found Vasco at a horse market in Rottach-Egern and bought him free, as probably only traders would have been interested in him. Together with 10 other foals he became a member of our family!
