Our pot-bellied pig Frieda at Gut Aiderbichl Iffeldorf unexpectedly became a mom. Colleagues had discovered the little surprises during a morning inspection. The culprit could only have been one: pot-bellied pig Eber Dennis. The cheeky little fellow has been living at Gut Aiderbichl Iffeldorf since December 2019. When he was admitted, we received veterinary confirmation that Dennis had been neutered. This was one of the criteria for taking him in. However, as it turned out after a follow-up check, this was not the case. Dennis had what are known as "hatching testicles" (the testicles are located in the abdomen and cannot be seen from the outside) and was therefore still able to conceive. Nevertheless, we are delighted to have Alexander with us.
