Kylie's life began in a sad way: At the tender age of about four months, she was separated from her mother dog and left to fend for herself and her fate on the shores of a tourist beach in Sri Lanka. But in the midst of misfortune, she found her silver lining:
One day Kylie was chased by a group of beach dogs and, in desperation, jumped into the pool of a nearby beach hotel. An attentive and animal-loving vacationer rescued the desperate stray and handed her over to the caring hands of the German animal welfare association "Dog Passion Sri Lanka", which was working on site. With the firm promise to take care of her placement, the association took Kylie in 1 ½ years ago. There she received the urgently needed medical care, including all the necessary vaccinations, worming and examinations, so that she can now leave for Austria in July.
