Breeding always means selection. Every year, countless foals that do not meet the "breeding ideals" are made to feel this. Only a few months old, they start their last journey to one of the notorious slaughterhouses in southern or eastern Europe. Viola would also have been threatened with this fate. She was already in a dealer's stable when we became aware of her. Viola has now found a new home with us and will never be in need again.
