The good-natured guard dog Sandy has had an odyssey. She was originally rescued from a Croatian killing station. An animal lover took Sandy in and the journey continued to Austria. Unfortunately, he realized that he couldn't cope with Sandy. He was unable to keep Sandy and so she was passed on. After fourteen more placements, Sandy came to Gut Aiderbichl. We were able to regain her trust. Sandy now feels understood and respected and shows us this very clearly.
