Important information

Corona Pandemic:

Gut Aiderbichl is a meeting place between humans and animals. It is intended to serve as a refuge for animals who found themselves in a hopeless situation.

Gut Aiderbichl Deggendorf, near the three-river city of Passau, was established in 2006. The main buildings and a dozen rescued horses, which form the core of the estate, are a legacy of Dr. Hatto Egerer, who gave shelter here to twelve poor, rescued horses. Meanwhile, more than 300 animals (horses, donkeys, mules and ponies, cattle, goats, sheep, pigs, rabbits, chickens and dogs) live at Gut Aiderbichl Deggendorf.

A special feature is the cat villa, furnished in 2008 and attached to the estate.

Opposite the farm stable, home to many rescued animals, is a beautiful courtyard with a fountain, surrounded by the old main stable. In the residential building you can enjoy our gastronomy with delicious dishes, as well as beautiful rooms where you can watch Aiderbichler animal films.

Our spacious picnic meadow is new, so that you can enjoy a delicious, regional picnic in warm weather surrounded by our rescued animals.

In addition, you can enjoy the new circular path built in 2020 on a dreamy walk and get even closer to the animals - an unforgettable time for you and your loved ones.

We look forward to your visit.
