Académie

La connaissance des animaux pour tous

When Michael Aufhauser founded Gut Aiderbichl as a meeting place for humans and animals, his vision was to offer animals a better future. This is why Gut Aiderbichl has become the largest sanctuary in Europe and why it has been recognized for its commitment to animal welfare. However, it is not possible to help all the animals by reclaiming them. "We have to fight against the elements that are the cause of concern: people's ignorance and insensitivity," said Michael Aufhauser right from the start. The aim of the Gut Aiderbichl Foundation is therefore to promote the well-being of animals on a spiritual, cultural, ethical and material level to the general public. The Académie Gut Aiderbichl has been created to ensure the continued realization of this vision.

The constant cycle of theexpansion of knowledge, theapplication of knowledge and the transmission of knowledge is the basis of the Gut Aiderbichl Academy.

Expansion of knowledge

Thanks to our collaboration with the Fondation Sandgrueb, Vet. Med. Université de Vienne and the Faculté Vetsuisse de l'Université de Zurich, we are expanding our knowledge through joint research projects. The aim is to maintain and improve the quality of animal life.

Application of the connaissances

The latest research results, such as parasite surveillance, are being implemented with great success.

Transmission of knowledge

A training program in the animal sector for children, young people and adults has long been a wish of the founder of Gut Aiderbichl, Michael Aufhauser. With the new Gut Aiderbichl Academy in Henndorf, near Salzbourg, we are now realizing this dream!
