It is not unusual that farmers contact us with a request to take in a cow. They build a bond with their animals too and begin to love them. Elli's farmer described her cow with loving words. But she also explained that after her 3rd calf, Elli unfortunately could no longer stay on the farm. Due to a healed fracture, which is her weak point, they did not want to allow her to get pregnant again. Unfortunately, she could not keep Elli and after many ideas, considerations and research, the farmer asked us to take her in and entrusted us with her Elli.
