How intelligent are pigs? To find out, universities and other institutions around the world are researching the cognitive behaviour of these animals. Research at piglet age is apparently particularly meaningful. As young pigs, they are extremely curious. Each in their own way. Of course, they also bring their individual imprinting with them. The behaviour and intelligence of 16 pigs was scientifically monitored by an institute that is a friend of ours - from an early age. The team had already asked beforehand whether the animals could move in with us after the end of the trial. So now 16 pigs became part of our family in one fell swoop. A challenge also for our staff. The "gang of pigs" looks confusingly similar and yet each one has its own name.
