The owner of Helga and her kind happened exactly what every farmer is afraid of: The cattle barn went completely up in flames and almost everything inside fell victim to the fire. 125 dairy cows died in agony in the flames and only seven managed to escape from the building. Helga was lucky, but the farmer faced ruin. A neighboring farmer was able to temporarily house the injured animals. When we heard about this, we offered our help to the farmer and bought the last seven cattle free.
