Uschi's story shows that there are also many people who love animals. A heartfull person found the newborn orphaned and wandering in the forest and initially took her to an animal shelter. An animal lover offered to raise Uschi and took her home. When the wild boar was old enough, she was allowed to come to us at Gut Aiderbichl. Wild boars are unfairly seen more and more as a nuisance. But they have been around since before humans took over their territories. As long as we have space, we take them in.
