tells her happy ending story
Hello, my name is Joy, I come from Romania, where my stray life began in January 2021, until in February 2022, when I was running along the road again looking for help, a car stopped next to me.
A very nice woman put me in her car and gave me a lift.
When I woke up the next morning, I was no longer alone. Nicky looked after me and, thank God, immediately realized that I had obviously given birth to puppies.
She immediately put me back in the car and we drove to the place where I had got in the day before.
I was overjoyed and immediately showed her my babies. This was the beginning of my 1st sheltered time. Nicky lovingly looked after my babies and me. When they were old enough to be placed, they immediately found loving families in Germany. But I had to wait a very long time until someone wanted to take me in.
On 03.09.2022 the time had finally come: after a long and exhausting journey (my future family was kept up to date about my transport by the people at Gut Aiderbichl the whole time), I was finally placed in Gabi's arms in Henndorf. We both immediately felt that we were meant to be together!
Elvira, Gabi's friend, was also there because my mistress thought it was good to get to know Elvira straight away, because she is supposed to look after me because Gabi sometimes has routes where I can't go.
It is now more than 1 year since I got a real dog home.
I would like to briefly describe this last year to you:
When I arrived home on September 3, 2022, my owner immediately carried me into MY garden (I didn't want to walk with a harness and leash yet, I had never worn anything like that before).
I was allowed to sit there for a long time and let everything sink in.
Elvira also stayed for a while. We liked each other straight away! But then they both told me to calm down and she left us.
Later we had a great dinner, Gabi let me eat out of her hands, it was very tasty.
Three weeks went by and every week I got to know a little more. I never left Gabi's side. Especially as I was terrified of men (with sticks).
Then my mistress said it was time to meet Tina, our dog trainer. Wow, let me tell you, that was a great lesson! And many more followed. We go to Tina almost every week 1-2 times (by the way, that was also love at first sight). We alternate between mantrailing and activity training, which I'm really keen on!
I am over the moon and so is my mistress!
Oh yes, Gabi found out where my children now live. In early summer, we drove all the way to Bruchsal, where we met again in Monti's garden. We were all very happy, especially as they seemed to recognize me.
My owner's little grandchildren are also very sweet to me when they come to visit. My favorite thing to do at night is to cuddle between Aluna and my owner.
I now go for walks with my owner without a lead wherever it is allowed!
My owner Gabi and I are quite simply a great team.
