Merlin - found a loving home

I have often looked at Gut Aiderbichl because of a dog. Merlin is now my eighth dog and all but Bonito are from animal welfare. Before Merlin I had a Greek dog called Aramis. Unfortunately he was not long with us. Maiky is also a stray from Greece.

When I inquired about a dog with you, you drew my attention to Merlin - formerly Ecco. Thereupon I went to Henndorf to see if Bonito and Maiky get along with him. I was advised very, very nicely and everything went well, so I got Merlin on 29.4.

Merlin immediately got into the car as if it had always been like this. Drove with two stops home where he immediately took one of three caves in possession. Merlin is very easy to frighten, but can also be easily redirected. He is already blossoming and the walks with him are wonderful. Bonito and Maiky show Merlin the big world. They make their own rules and as long as it is mutually accepted by all, I do not intervene. There is such a beautiful respect and esteem for each other that I wish it would be the same with us humans. I work with my boys in such a way that they are always aware of me, but I also give them their space. Merlin always looks up at me as if to ask if it is right. He also sometimes lets the 'Stritzi' hang out. He is allowed to experience and learn a lot. My hiking friends have already taken him to their hearts. I always say he is a 'heart worm'. I also think that Merlin is not a runaway and I will work with a drag line in the near future. When he runs free in the garden, he is always near me. But I also know that it can be different outdoors when he gets scared. Merlin is now almost 14 days with me and learns with each day. On the whole I am very confident and think that he will be able to run more freely in a year. Merlin is doing well and I will also see that it does not change for him and he stays with me until the last second. I say thanks for your tip and that there is Aiderbichl
