As dog owners, we are on the road a lot. We walk with our dogs in the forest, on the dog meadow or in the city. Often out of curiosity, play or hunting instinct, it can happen that our four-legged darling gets hurt. A scuffle between dogs, which often sounds worse than it is, can end with bites or scratches. The dog may get a cut, from sharp objects lying around on the street, such as broken glass. Such injuries should be well taken care of. Professional first aid by the dog owner until transport to the veterinary practice can play a decisive role in ensuring that emergencies such as injuries, poisoning, burns, hypothermia or overheating end smoothly for the dog.
Registration is absolutely necessary, as the number of participants is limited.
Dogs that are comfortable around people and compatible with their own kind are welcome to attend. (Please bring a water bowl and blanket for your dog.) Dogs must be leashed throughout the event.
Course content
Professional first aid by the dog owner until transport to the veterinary practice can make a decisive contribution to ensuring that emergencies such as injuries, poisoning, burns, hypothermia or overheating end smoothly for the dog.
