The Tux-Zillertaler was the most widespread breed of cattle in the Tyrolean lowlands in the 19th century, famous and also notorious for their fighting spirit. In the 70's there were only 30 of them left in the world and these wonderful animals were now an endangered breed of cattle. Edith is one of them, but fortunately she saw the light of day at Gut Aiderbichl. We promised her that she could stay and that nothing would ever happen to her - and since she knows this, she rewards us daily with her joy of life!
