Glockerl was exhibited together with many other animals in 2012 as part of a large agricultural exhibition in the vicinity of the Munich Oktoberfest. But with the end of the exhibition, she and her "fellow sufferers" would have been threatened with death if animal lovers had not intervened on their behalf. Unfortunately, the official requirements and regulations, such as the 30-day quarantine, are so strict that it becomes almost impossible for breeders and animal owners to integrate the animals into an agricultural operation. Slaughter is easier and cheaper. In desperation, animal lovers contacted us. Despite the lack of space, we did not want to leave the animals in the lurch and pulled out all the stops to help the animals. On 30.09.2012 the goats and pigs were allowed to move in with us at Gut Aiderbichl.
