Calf Little Ernst was born at Gut Aiderbichl Deggendorf. His mother Rigo Jancsi had to be evacuated from a suburb of Deggendorf a few weeks earlier, as the dikes threatened to break during the 2013 flood of the century in Deggendorf. Together with other cows and the farmer Edeltraud, she was housed at Gut Aiderbichl. On the day of the evacuation, Edeltraud approached us with a request: "May my cows and I stay with you? Hard to refuse such a request and so Little Ernst was born in our care and may stay forever.
