After the dog and together with the sheep, the goat is probably one of the first domestic animals that was also used in an economic sense. The goat is also known as the "poor man's cow" because it not only gives an enormous amount of milk, measured by its body size and girth, but also needs much less food and space than cattle. Goats also have their place in mythology: in the legend of the gods, Zeus was raised by the goat Almatheia. At Gut Aiderbichl, we are also fascinated by them. Their lust for life and their witty nature regularly make us laugh. But their intelligence also impresses us again and again. Jacki and Lucky have nothing to prove to us. They already convinced us of their charm when they were born here and are allowed to stay until the natural end of their lives.
