The Oktoberfest is considered one of the largest folk festivals and is known worldwide. It stands for conviviality, tradition and cozy get-togethers. But on the fringes of this festival, a large agricultural exhibition takes place every four years. This is all about machinery, modern agriculture and animals. About 800 of these animals are awarded prizes and exhibited for two weeks - as an "advertisement" for animal-friendly husbandry methods of modern agriculture. Every day, many people visit this exhibition, see the four-legged friends, some may pet them, and move on. The fact that all this means enormous stress for the animals, considers the fewest of them. Nor do they suspect that the end of the exhibition is often the death sentence for the animals, due to the strict disease regulations. Animal lovers stood up for the goats in 2016 and so Nanni became an Aiderbichler.
