An animal welfare organization held its hands protectively over a small herd of Galloway cattle. Had they not done so, they would have been slaughtered and their bodies disposed of, because their owner had not complied with the regulations - so "integration into the food chain" was unthinkable. Together with the authorities, we were able to find a solution and save the animals' lives. Spätzle was already born under our care - we also promised her to be allowed to stay until the natural end of her life.
