Alma is a "borrowed cow" that we were able to help. Now you may wonder what a "borrowed cow" is. The story happened as follows. An old farmer promised his last three cattle to stay. They would receive the mercy bread. When finally only one remained, he did not know quite what to do. Through a good friend he was able to borrow "Alma" until he could find a solution for his Heidi. Gut Aiderbichl agreed to take in Heidi without knowing that Alma existed. On the spot, Aiderbichler cattle rescuer Christian Kögl spoke with Alma's owner, because it would break his heart to simply let Alma go back. So on that day, both cattle became Aiderbichler cattle.
