In his prime, Chinook was a trotter who had also competed in more than one race on the track. As a sport horse, he was trained to perform at his best. But when he could no longer be used due to lameness, he was retired. Through an animal lover, Chinook eventually became part of our family and is thus one of the first horses Mr Aufhauser took in during the early days. His promise still stands today and will never be broken: Chinook may stay with us until the natural end of his life!
