When animal lovers found Frida, a small, full-size pony, it was clear that she was not going to be easy. But they were optimistic and gave Frida a chance. So the timid mare moved into the farm. However, it was not possible to handle her on a normal daily basis and riding was out of the question. Her trauma was so deep-seated that despite a year and a half of intensive training, only small progress was made. The animal friends suspected that she had suffered a carriage accident, which would explain many of her behaviors. Nevertheless, Frida could not stay. An Aiderbichler became aware of Frida and wanted to help. She contacted Gut Aiderbichl to ask if we could help her Freaky Frida. We thought long and hard about whether we could do Frida justice and whether we could offer her a good home at Gut Aiderbichl, and finally decided in favor of Frida and the challenge.
