Little cow Fussl was born on a small organic farm in Salzburg. She was so small that the farmer could carry her in his arms. When Fussl was born, and it was certain that as a Charolais Cattle she would have no future on the farm, the farmer's daughter tried for days to persuade her parents to keep Fussl. Anna's persistence won out, and Fussl was able to stay. After an adventurous trip to the mountain pasture, Fussl had to be nursed back to health on the farm at home. It was agreed with the parents that when Fussl had her first calf, she herself would have to "leave", because as a beef cow she did not give much milk, and keeping her would have been too costly financially. When the time came, the daughter just couldn't help herself - she fought for her Fussl again and managed to get the well-behaved cow of her heart to move into Gut Aiderbichl Henndorf. Here she is now - the Fussl with the great heart story.
