When a social worker from an authority in Vienna approached us and asked for help, we could not have guessed what was in store for us. Because originally we were asked for the admission of approx. 80 wave and cockatiels. A proud number of animals, but at that time it still seemed quite harmless. The Gut Aiderbichl team set off and only on the spot we realized the extent of the need. The owner had been completely overwhelmed with the care of her animals. From the originally mentioned 80, in the end we rescued 323 birds - animal protection is also human protection.
