Two sisters met the little calf shortly after birth. They vacationed there at the farm and christened the little one Kathi. They quickly built up a relationship with her and visited her every day. When the vacation was over, the family learned that Kathi would soon be leaving the farm - facing an uncertain future. The family wanted to prevent this and asked us for help, because the two sisters had already plundered their piggy banks to buy the calf back. Deeply impressed by the effort, Dieter Ehrengruber agreed to take in the calf. Of course, Mama Franziska was allowed to come along.
