Diana Shaffner is originally from Bavaria and now lives in Texas with her husband. A few years ago, she learned of horses destined for slaughter due to extreme neglect and impending transport to Mexico. When she was in Munich, she decided to take a trip to Gut Aiderbichl in Henndorf. Back in the USA, Diana told her husband George about the Aiderbichl philosophy. The two decided to set up a small Aiderbichl in America. Diana is committed to helping the horses wherever she can. When she heard about a horse auction where mustangs were also being auctioned off, she contacted us. We agreed to buy the small light gray mare Aby (6 years old) and the two-year-old chestnut mustang mare Little Sunshine on behalf of Gut Aiderbichl. Two more horses were able to benefit from our symbolic act. We were also able to help Charly, a six-year-old wallach with pneumonia, and four-year-old Molly, whose life was hanging by a thread. They are now under the protection of Gut Aiderbichl in Texas, at Sunshine Ranch. These horses were also helped at the last minute because of the commitment of Aiderbichl supporters. Please make sponsorships for our four Americans. If you need more information about the horses in America, there is a separate homepage. http://www.aiderbichlintexas.com/
