The beautiful silver fox Sver was not born in the wild, like most of her fellow foxes in the fox enclosure at Gut Aiderbichl Gänserndorf. No, she is an ex-convict from a fur farm and had to eke out her existence in a small cage. Through the efforts of Gut Aiderbichl, a few could be saved, but by far far too few. All the others probably met their deaths a few months later during the "fur harvest". Mostly this happens in December, because that is when the fur is densest. We can all do something for the animals. In the case of the fur farm foxes, but also all the other animals that give their lives for this industry, a renunciation of such products is the only solution.
