Teddy and Ben were born in Greece. Their mother was found pregnant and gave birth to a total of 14 puppies. Unfortunately, only six of them survived. The females could be successfully placed, only the boys remained. They grew up in the care of an animal welfare worker who took good care of the dogs. Then the Alexandropolis shelter burned down and the animals had to be evacuated. The animal welfare worker had to sleep with the dogs in the car, as there was no other option. But the dogs were not safe. They should be abandoned in the mountains, was the solution proposed by some people. Even if the dogs had been able to feed themselves, they would not have found anything to eat in the mountains because of the fire. The call for help reached Gut Aiderbichl...

Teddy now lives with his brother Ben at Gut Aiderbichl Tierschutzhof Krevinghausen. Both are developing into really great dogs who love going for walks just as much as lying comfortably in their run to watch the surroundings.

We would like Teddy to have a farm as his new home. We will of course have to test whether he gets on with the animals on the farm beforehand. Teddy can be rehomed alone - but also with his brother Ben.
