Only love
and patience can help

Ben and Teddy are looking forward to people who can give them both

From the perspective of Gut Aiderbichl

(written by Gisela Pschenitschnig)

Together Ben came to Austria with his brother Teddy. The two Greek Hhad last lived in a Greek animal shelter. This shelter was flooded by heavy rain flooded by heavy rain, and so Teddy and Ben and all the other animals were moved to another shelter. This in turn fell victim to a fire. Only a few months on this earth, and everything went haywire in Teddy and Ben's lives ...

How it all began

A heavily pregnant bitch was found and was first provided with everything she needed. She gave birth to 14 puppies - unbelievable, but true.
Only six of her 14 puppies survived. They were probably too weak to survive in hot Greece.

The little bitches were easy to place, but nobody wanted Ben and Teddy. So the two males grew up in the care of an animal rights activist. However, another catastrophe began to shake Ben and Teddy's happiness. The animal shelter in Alexandropolis, where they last lived with the animal rights activist, burned down and all the animals had to be evacuated.

A life in the car could not be a solution

After the home fell victim to the flames, the animal rights activist lived in the car with Ben and Teddy for a few days. The situation was more than dramatic for both humans and animals. Determined, the woman and her two dogs drove back to the burnt-down house. Only the fence was still standing. So at least Ben and Teddy could run free.

However, the veterinary office decided that the site should be cleared so that the animal shelter could be rebuilt. What now?

The solution should be to abandon the two dogs in the mountains

There were people who were of the opinion that they in the mountains already survived wouldbecause they were self-sufficient. According to reports, however, the situation was that the fire had burned everything down and Ben and Teddy would have struggled to find food. Please look into the eyes of Ben and Teddy. Or into the eyes of your own animals.
How couldould think of abandoning these wonderful dogs? Unimaginable. What would Ben and Teddy have to go through to finally find peace?

"These two wonderful dogs are welcome to come to Aiderbichl..."

Dieter Ehrengruber immediately agreed to take in Ben and Teddy. They have been living at the Gut Aiderbichl animal shelter in Osnabrück for a few weeks now.

Ben and Teddy are shy and some things frighten them. But they are docile, not aggressive. When you think what these two young dog souls have had to endure, it's amazing that they have such a zest for life.

What can help Ben and Teddy are people who have good intuition, patience and an infinite amount of love for animals. They should be people who can empathize with the wounded souls of Ben and Teddy. I am sure that if the love for the animal wins out, both can be loyal companions to a loved one.

They need plenty of open space to run, to be able to retreat and at some point, when their sensitive souls know that they are dealing with a person they can trust, they will loyally follow and stand by that person. Just like people's best friends do.

Look your dog in the eye and try to say that animals don't have a soul.

~ (Victor Hugo)

We are looking for a home with loving people for Ben and Teddy. With someone who understands and can interpret their shyness and turn them into happy dogs.

Yours sincerely,
Your Gisela.
