My name is Toby and I hope you'll take 2 minutes to take a closer look at me.

I arrived here at the Shelter when I was still half a portion. I was told that with your cute little snout, you wouldn't even have to unpack your suitcase and would surely be adopted right away.
But something went wrong, because months later I am still here.
In the meantime I have become a real young dog, who races with the other puppies.

The smaller girls like me very much and snuggle up to me during the cold nights. A little bit I feel like their protector then.
It's a good feeling to take care of them.

Some of them were now allowed to leave and that is certainly good, because they were small and very delicate. I, on the other hand, have developed magnificently and am a whole guy.

But that doesn't mean that I don't also wish to belong to people who care for me. Even though I am standing here on my own paws, I wish so much for a protective hand that will take me away from here.

I'm sure you can see in the videos what fun I have exploring the world. Unfortunately, the time in the garden of the shelter is always very limited and when it ends, we have to go back to our hut. There it is dreary and we can only dream about how beautiful life could be .... maybe with you!
I would be very happy if you would give me a chance.

Traces is the name of the database system used to monitor all animal traffic within the EU. The dogs travel neutered (if old enough), vaccinated, chipped and dewormed and have an EU passport. Furthermore, a rapid test for the following Mediterranean diseases is carried out on dogs 12 months and older before departure: Lyme disease, anaplasmosis, ehrlichiosis, dirofilariosis and leishmaniasis.
